The Big Issue

That I thought big issue vendors should be better salesman!
What I actually meant
When asked on the apprentice application form, what frustrates you? I gave an honest answer. I could have given a half hearted response which wouldn’t have caused controversy or misinterpretation, however I felt this was a subject that needed addressing. I didn’t feel the big issue was being marketed correctly therefore not fulfilling its full potential. This was highlighted by a personal experience I had with a vendor in Leeds who I subsequently gave a few tips too. This resulted in increased sales for that individual and helped towards his cause.
What I’ve done about it
Since the show I have been out on the streets of Leeds working with the vendors to coach them where and when applicable to increase sales. The homeless situation in the UK is a massive issue and one which we all need to contribute towards. Watch this space for up and coming events that will help raise awareness.
